Hello, the following photographs are of the aloe vera plant, which grows in many indoor and outdoor gardens in Mexico.

It's a plant used for some medicinal purposes; the raw or roasted leaves can be used to treat stomach ulcers, heal superficial wounds (the flesh of its leaves is applied directly to the wound), and for other purposes.

The flowers have an orange hue and are edible; they can be stewed and accompanied by various dishes. These photographs were taken in the city of Puebla, Mexico.
