The Mover category is one example of the leaderboard progression that makes the grind feel like a game. How Do You Earn River Points?
River4Fun is one route, but it sits inside a much broader reward system. You can accumulate River Points through eligible social contributions, campaigns, or partner programmes!
Other earning routes include staking $RIVER, participating in governance and using satUSD through supported DeFi integrations.
When S6 finished I was surprised how many points I've got! Was under 2k for the previous ones and now 4191 feels like a big deal!
Claimed the River4Fun points and then locked them until 1st of July 2018 for 16x boost! Why that date? Because the previous batches unlock then!
This is the 3rd stake of $RIVER added in the pool, and months for now they will unlock as 12 $RIVER tokens. I said it at the start... it's a long term game!

Let's look into the conversion system! River uses its Dynamic Airdrop Conversion 3.0 system to convert eligible River Points into Staked $RIVER.
Rather than treating every season as a one-off giveaway, the system operates through recurring seasons with conversion windows and staking choices.
For Season 7 an ideal conversion rate of 0.01. At that ideal rate 10,000 River Points would produce a base output of 100 Staked $RIVER ... but it was not like that!
That was an illustration and not a guaranteed payout. My 4k points turned into 12 $RIVER but that's ok! The actual rate changes with conversion activity!
Why locking your $RIVER has benefits? The River conversion system offers staking epochs ranging from three months to 24 months.
Your choice affects how much of the base conversion output you retain, how long your tokens remain staked and the voting-power multiplier attached to your position.
Choose a shorter epoch and the final output can be lower because of the applicable reshare. Your exact result depends on the live conversion rate and the selected epoch.
You need to decide how much flexibility you want versus how much long-term commitment makes sense for your plans. Think about when you want the tokens available!
Locked tokens are not the same as freely available liquid tokens, and $RIVER's market price can rise or fall while you are staking.
I play the long term game and I set the same date for all batches! On 1st of July 2018 all three bundles will unlock and will be able to claim 23.16 $RIVER tokens!
Can be zero or can be a meal out! So far the leaderboard is part of what makes River4Fun appealing. It gives creators a way to measure their contribution over time!
You advance through the tiers! As your points accumulate, you can monitor your position and see how your contribution compares with other participants.
Don't confuse your leaderboard tier or rank with a guaranteed reward. River4Fun rankings measure campaign performance, while the final token outcome depends on conversion.
My advice is to focus on the things you can control! Go publish original content, join relevant activities, track your points and keep an eye on the official leaderboard.
Chasing every single ranking can become exhausting, so find a rhythm you can sustain. A strong position built through consistent participation is more satisfying!
River's seventh season runs until 31st of December 2026, continuing the project's quarterly incentive model into its second year. Don't change it if it's not broken!
