Cleared All Tokens on Hive Engine | Used Them For Trading SwapBTC and SwapLTC | Best Decision!

Hive Engine Tokens | TLDR

There were 99 Hive Engine tokens sitting in one of my accounts doing nothing. On closer look, I realized that many were defunct; some were still around, while very few made sense at all. I sold all the tokens that I could sell and put the money on SwapBTC and SwapLTC on Hive Engine.

In other words, I am trading only two tokens, BTC and LTC, by setting multiple limit orders on either side of the price and continuously trading them. Best decision I made, and the amount held is also increasing because of my trades.

Now, why didn’t I think of this before?

Hive Engine Tokens | What I Realized

So, anyone who has been on Hive for some time now realizes that he/she would have earned tokens in one form or another over the months or years. These tokens are sitting there in our Hive-Engine account doing nothing. They have a value but not much. So, the obvious thing to do is to ignore them, and that's what I did for so long.

To add to that problem, at least in my case, I had staked such tokens and even delegated them to some accounts. It must have made sense then, but not now. Why? Because many of these tokens are defunct, and even those that remain are totally irrelevant.

But… there are very, very few that do make sense even now. And I worked out a plan.

What was it?

Hive Engine Tokens | The Plan

So, the main thing that I did was as follows:

**Step 1: Stop Delegation and Unstake**

All the Hive Engine tokens that had small to no value, I undelegated and then unstaked the tokens. Both parts, undelgation and unstaking, take a small period of time, meaning the token takes time to be credited to your account. But I did it anyway.

**Step 2: Sell Off All Such Low Activity, No Activity Tokens**

No mercy. Brutally sold off every such irrelevant token for whatever price I got for them. Let’s not be under any illusion that one day their price will go up and that’s why we should hold.

Anyway, your call. Your choice. But my choice was to clear the trash.

Here's the bummer - I made roughly 80 Hive by selling all these trash tokens over a period of time. Don't have to believe me; just go on Hive Engine and check it out yourselves. :)

**Step 3: Look for High Volume Tokens on Hive-Engine**

There are a few, but to me SwapBTC and SwapLTC looked like a good bet. I invested the money in both tokens with step limit trades. This means I will automatically buy at a low price and sell at a higher price, and the process keeps repeating. So, the initial money I invested has already grown.

**Step 4: The Tokens Keep Multiplying | Thank God**

There is a lot happening over here. The BTC and LTC tokens keep trading; my initial investments are growing and multiplying. Money makes money. That’s good news. But that’s not all. While the process is ongoing, my other tokens are getting undelegated and unstaked (remember, it has a cooling period?), so I keep getting more Hive to put into BTC and LTC. With the quantum of trade increasing, the profit from the trade also increases. Super situation, in my opinion.

**Step 5: What Next?**

Continue with the trades. Simple.

There are other high-volume tokens too, but very few – SPS, DEC, SwapBlurt, etc., are some examples. I may look at SwapBlurt alone as an additional one. At this point, let me also share the decent working tokens and the ones that I did not sell. These include IUC and LEO. Frankly, I haven’t seen or explored anything beyond these too. So, they get to stay, and I also earn in these two tokens from my writing. That’s good for me.

Also, I am keen to explore new tokens that I could earn from my writing, like Lassecash, PoB, and WAIV. I don’t have any intention of stacking these, but of using them to sell, make Hive, and use that Hive on BTC, LTC, and maybe Blurt.

So, that’s it. Those were my next steps.

How Do I Feel About the Entire Thing?

I feel like the CEO of some company divesting dying businesses and putting the money in growing ones. So, it is a way of consolidation and growth. The consolidation also allows a bigger quantum of play in the main tokens (BTC and LTC over here) and therefore bigger returns. This was a no-brainer. How did I not see this earlier?

Anyway, now that I saw it and took action, I can be happy with myself. God’s Grace!! I hope you enjoyed reading about my Hive-Engine saga. If you liked it and notice the same thing with your account, you can do something similar.

Enjoy! 😊 😊
