Wow, how long has there been a “3 Steps” around here, right? lol ... As I commented on Instagram earlier, I decided to cut my bangs after some time. My hair grows very fast and I like the long bangs, close to the eyes, so I have to trim every 2 weeks. As I won't be going to the salon just for that, I end up cutting it myself. I've already received questions from some girls wanting to know how I do it at home, so here's the step-by-step how I do it.

Ah, first of all, it is worth saying that I prefer to cut with dry hair. This because:

• No surprise :: As the hair tends to get a little longer when it is wet, there is no surprise after drying, like “ih, it has shrunk!”, Rs…

• The cut is softer :: I like the frayed ends and this result is difficult to achieve when the hair is wet, I think it ends up cutting larger pieces, I don't know.

• You can see at the time if it was good or not :: I am cutting it gradually until I see if the height is good.

1) Separate the fringe by dividing it into a triangle.

2) Keep the bangs close to the eyes and close together. If you move too far the chance of unevenness may be greater, not to mention that the outer layer of the fringe is shorter than the inner layer, which is not cool, lol. Oh, and it's okay to cut everything together, in the same "line", if you want the longest effect on the sides, as is my case. Since each wire is at a different height from the head, when you release the effect it appears. ;)

3) Cut with scissors vertically! This makes a lot of difference to the cut finish. If your bangs are too long you can cut the thick horizontally and leave a margin to make the cut with the scissors vertically. Hence the frayed effect, more natural and lighter. ;)

Well, this is the way I do it and I think it works! There are certainly other techniques (in fact, I accept tips!). I don't even know if I'm doing it correctly, but what matters is the final result, right? :) Of course, after a few months of improvisation, the bangs are a little crooked, but then it is time to cut the hair all over again and Dafne will fix it, lol…
