Even though she was never real,

Her heart I could somehow feel.

Seemingly a simple character on a show,

Yet to me there is so much more to know.

It was as if I had known her,

My heart watched her soul be battered over and over.

Now that my soul thirsts for its weekly meal,

They tell me there is no more to reveal.

Yet I cannot come to terms,

For my heart yearns and yearns.

How could they rob me of my friend,

A friendship that I had hoped could never end.

In the fantasy one can't be hurt,

Or maybe that is the truth in its worth.

This soul desperately searching a lifetime for you,

My mirror image I have adored you.

My fantasy has been your grim reality,

Sadly sailing the waters alone the fates have left thee.

Tragically you shall travel without the one you love most,

When all was lost my heart cried for you I shall boast.

Here lies the irony I'll never know,

For I shall never see where your life shall go.

I can only have faith you'll be okay,

If you only knew me I think that's what you'd say.
