"To Act, or To Be"

Some are there

Only to be upon the stage,

Others are there, to express,

To portray that soul,

For which is the reason

They have come.

It would not be so sad

If not so many had

Expressed their feeling

"You were made for that soul,"

or it would not be such torture

If at the precise moment,

that trying moment

the words would not have flowed,

when it felt so right

and our souls were one,

the fictional soul

and thy soul.

Oh what would be given

Only the true can hold.

Oh the shedding of tears

Received only from thy soul.
