A poet's mind is like space

Scattered all around are ideas

The ideas in his mind are

Pieces of scattered matter about

His universe.

In his universe he has

Finished ideas

Those are the planets

And there are those

Those that are complete

They are the galaxies.

The universe of imagination

In the poet's mind is then

Put into paper with readers

Making up the explorers.

When the explorers have completed

Their mission to the unknown

It all becomes knowledge for

Those who are eagerly awaiting

The new discoveries.
