All is silent

The actors have all gone home

Costumes are neatly put away

No one occupies

The seats in the audiences.

Everything is boxed up, put away

The flats, the barricade

Have all come down

No backdrop exists.

It appears as if

Nothing has ever occurred,

Been changed, or taken place,

Yes there is still

Something aesthetic, which beckons,

Something that reminds us,

As we see and feel

Only the shadwos

Of the characters

Who once lived

Upon thy stage,

What a glorious moment for all!
