Love's Wicked Tales

"Plea For A Pardon"

Let me go, or let me grow

Set me free, or let me be

Who I am, and all that I stand

My will must be me, yet only a thrill to thee

I am your glee, if only you could see

A free spirit unhappy, wearing clothes too baggy

Thyself is not ready, yet I did wed thee

Love yes I do, but feel I am a fluke

Yet what you need, is all my greed

For my needs, are not at ease

My youth it calls, there shall be walls

What you are, on a plane afar

There you were all, yet just one missing law

The one who has said, that we should stay wed

Know I don't believe, please send your relief

Sorrow fills my heart, just short a work of art

You said a pair sharing, should always be everything

However that's the flaw, the one missing law

We don't share all, we are of different songs

You may not feel, that I have been real

Again I am sorry, and that is my worry

Let me go, or let me grow

Set me free, or let me be.
