"Sorrow And Loss, Glimmer And Hope"

1998

I want to cry, but I have not tears...

You're a living lie, embracing all of your fears.

All the days went by, have turned to years...

I see you with my eyes, you've abused my ears.

What more can I say, I've seen you.

Who are we today, I saw you.

How many games have you to play, I know you.

Oh, I weep a loving heart has been slain, I knew you.

It was a slow painful death, a terrible lost time...

As I watched I wept, there was no rhyme.

I tried so hard, my best, love, it was just a crime,

All I can do now is rest, but one day your clock will chime.

I hope I still have breath, to hear...

Should you ever again try, I'll be near.

A treasure to you forever, always, and with cheer,

For the hope of resurrection, I pray it shall be clear.
