Friendship's Evolution
"Never Really Lost"
1997
Faintly through your silence,
I still hear through my sub-conscience,
Though in life, you are long gone.
Yet somehow I see the dawn,
Though not here it still goes on,
Bonds truly never die,
Even when we've reached the other side.
I know I'll never again see,
This life shall not reach me.
Yet at night we still meet,
And my soul thinks it neat.
With that I find my satisfaction,
There need be no other reaction.
