Initial Coin Offering, ICO, is a phenomenon emphasizing the sales of part of a crypto projects' tokens to early investors, in order to use funds raised to further develop their project. This has become common in recent times, but at it's early stages, I fell a victim to a failed ICO.
Usually, when a project decides to run an ICO, they embark on publicity campaigns using influencer to sell their ideas to potential investors. I stumbled on one such materials back in the days, full of promise, brilliant concept, great ideas on how they planned to monetize real estate; and without proper investigation, I invested. And lost!
