The sound and visuals for this track were heavily inspired by the amazing energy and aesthetics of Anya Taylor-Joy.
I made the soundtrack exactly 3 minutes long to fit into YouTube Shorts, a reel of which pleases me with a good reach now and then. But when I uploaded and converted it, YouTube added one second, making it 3:01, and the track went into regular videos instead. TikTok, on the other hand, processed the song as 3:00. This is the kind of bummer you get with these different platform formats.
Behind the Scenes of Fame: Anya Taylor-Joy's Life in Fall 2025
September 2025: Premieres, Festivals, and Unexpected Rumors
After a successful start to the year with releases including the blockbuster "The Gorge," September 2025 for Anya Taylor-Joy marked a transition from filming to promotion and festival activities. At the beginning of the month, on September 6, the actress attended the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). This festival, which ran from September 4 to 14, served as a platform for the premiere of a new film she starred in — the action-comedy "Sacrifice."
At the "Sacrifice" premiere's red carpet, Anya appeared in a light blue Dior dress. While her appearance drew admiration, fashion critics found the outfit to be controversial, comparing it to a "feather duster" rather than high fashion.
The film "Sacrifice" itself received mixed reviews, which is common for cinematic satire. Some critics noted that the first half of the movie was very tense and witty, but they remarked that its second half "falls apart," shifting from a realistic allegory to a "fantasy angle." Anya Taylor-Joy, who played the ecoterrorist Joan, was praised for her restrained, serious performance, which balanced the comedic role of her colleague Chris Evans.
Another significant event in September was the news, published on September 16, about the actress's possible participation in a biographical film about singer Joni Mitchell. According to rumors, she was to play the role of a young Mitchell, while Meryl Streep would play her as an adult. However, the project's director, Cameron Crowe, confirmed that filming is scheduled for 2026. Thus, this project was not part of her plans for 2025.
Expectations for the End of 2025: Press Tour and New Projects
According to available information, no new films starring Anya Taylor-Joy are scheduled for release in October, November, and December 2025. Instead, her activities until the end of the year are likely focused on promoting her already released works.
Sources note that the actress is ready to embark on an "active press tour" to support her latest projects, such as "Sacrifice," "The Gorge," and the upcoming mini-series "Lucky." This phase of her career is no less important than the filming itself, as it is aimed at maintaining audience and media interest.
Although Anya did not receive a nomination for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, her participation in several notable projects released throughout the year makes her a prominent figure in discussions about future awards campaigns.
Thus, fall 2025 for Anya Taylor-Joy is a period of transformation. After intense work on set and major premieres, her focus has shifted to promoting her work. Attending festivals like TIFF and actively participating in press tours are key elements of her professional life until the end of the year. And while new projects, such as the biographical film about Joni Mitchell, are being announced, they will become a reality next year.
