‘Threads’ is a new app developed by Instagram (Meta) to share texts, photos, videos and real-time conversation. Will it be more popular than Twitter?

Early adopters and Inluencers are joining the next hyped social media app.

On July 5th ‘Threads’ was introduced in an announcement by Instagram as a new app to share text posts of up to 500 characters as well as images and videos with a maximum length of 5 minutes.

‘Threads’ is targeted at creators and casual posters to share real-time updates and connect to their audience and friends. It’s meant to be an extension of Instagram and allows users to join public conversation.

How to join ‘Threads’?

You can login with your existing Instagram account and your information can be copied to ‘Threads’, such as your Bio and even your Instagram following list, if you wish to. It will also make to easy to connect new people with similar interests through recommended content.

Is Threads available in my country?

‘Threads’ has been rolled out in over 100 countries for both iOs and Android users. Though if you can’t find the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store yet, it may still take some time.
