The debut of Spot ETFs on Ethereum is really close: asset managers are finalizing preparations for the launch of these new products, filing the last necessary documents with the SEC. Among these, there are giants of the caliber of BlackRock, Invesco Galaxy, VanEck, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale Investmens and 21Shares.

Rather "honest" commissions

The most interesting news concerns the management commissions, which are expected to be rather competitive.
In first place we currently find Franklin Templeton and VanEck, with commissions offered of 0.19% and 0.20% respectively. According to Balchunas, an analyst at Bloomberg, the proposed commissions are really low and put pressure on BlackRock, which seems to offer commissions between 0.21 and 0.39%.

Historic step

The green light to Spot ETFs represents a historic turning point for Ethereum, confirming its definitive ascension to "commodity" in the eyes of US regulators, after a long debate on its classification. This recognition opens the doors to a greater inflow of institutional capital into the ETG world, with potential benefits in terms of stability and growth for its ecosystem.

Wait almost over

The SEC has already given preliminary approval to Spot ETH ETFs last month, giving the green light to the 19b-4 forms. The last obstacle is represented by the actual registration of the S-1 forms. According to the latest rumors, the final green light should arrive on July 2nd. From that moment on, ETFs will finally be available to investors, both institutional and retail, who are eagerly awaiting them, especially at a time when the crypto market needs new stimuli to recover.
