Solana, the token that promised to overtake Ethereum, scored +80% in just one month, outperforming Bitcoin.
If you recall, FTX was a large investor in Solana, as was Alameda Research who were not only important supporters especially of Solana's price but also strategic partners, having collaborated to develop new products and services such as staking and derivatives on Solana.
The failure of FTX and Alameda led to a collapse that saw Solana reach the price of $8.
According to rumors and online rumors, community distrust fueled the SOL faithful's counteraction, leading to an 83% increase in DEV shortly after FTX's collapse. It is surprising that these devs are not "hired", but freely decide to engage in the development of the blockchain.
According to Developer Report, Solana currently has almost 1000 full-time developers compared to 6000 for Ethereum, which however currently has a market capitalization about ten times higher.
What has not collapsed is therefore the support of developers and many investors, who currently believe Solana is a better chain than Ethereum.
What no one can deny is that in recent months the SOL/BTC pair, like SOL/ETH, has been more interesting than ETH/BTC and that the token is carving out more and more space for itself among the altcoins.
