Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy, currently holder of 214,000 BTC, is riding the Bitcoin effect by climbing the ranking of the largest companies in the USA.
At the time of typing, MicroStrategy has overtaken the e-commerce giant eBay, reaching 278th position, with a marketcap of $31.85 billion (eBay is at 311th, marketcap of $26.46 billion).
The stock price is around $1876.99, with a pump of around +31% in the last 5 days, +115% in the last 30 days and +494% in the last six months.
Wisdomtree will invest in Bitcoin ETFs
WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (WETF), a leading global asset manager with over $80 billion in AUM, announced plans to launch a Bitcoin ETF, called WIsdomTree Bitcoin Strategy Fund, where it will offer investors exposure to the Bitcoin price in a regulated environment.
It seems like no one wants to be left behind.
Grayscale bullish on Ethereum ETF
Grayscale Investments, LLC, the manager of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), said it is confident that an Ethereum (ETH) ETF will be approved by the SEC.
In the statement posted on X, Graig Salm, the Chief Legal Officer, recently expressed his opinion on the matter in a thread on X, here are the highlights:
- Salm is not discouraged by the SEC's lack of progress, but believes there is little commitment on their part;
-he believes that the ETF should be approved given the enormous interest of investors and because it would allow them to access the cryptocurrency market in a safe way;
- The case of the Bitcoin ETF is mentioned, for which Grayscale and other fund managers have had a constructive dialogue with the SEC.
What we know concretely to date is that the SEC recently opened a case on Grayscale's ETH Spot ETF, asking for public comments.
