Bitcoin is trending on Wikipedia

By KMatt | Blogging Crypto | 14 Sep 2023

On September 8, the Bitcoin Wikipedia page recorded a total of 7,830 views, marking the peak daily views for 2023.

The reasons are estimated to be linked to the probability of approval of an upcoming launch of Spot ETFs by Grayscale, BlackRock and others (this week, Franklin Templeton, a well-known financial institution, was also added).

On Binance, however, this has not slowed down the outflow of cryptocurrencies, mainly due to the end of the 0-fee Bitcoin trading promo.

This led, for the first time since November 2020, to a drop in volumes below 10 billion dollars, around 9 billion. Also due to the declared inflation data which was higher than expected, the increase in oil prices (around 10% in a month) and the uncertainty relating to the increase in interest rates and restrictive policies. All markets today seem to be at a standstill, including the European one which remains awaiting the ECB's decisions on interest rates. Despite everything,

Bitcoin remains at the center of attention, still stable between 25/26k and with a potential number of buyers set to rise with the approval of Spot ETFs. Patience is needed and following a precise strategy, such as the DCA or waiting while remaining vigilant and ready to intervene
