We have witnessed months of great volatility, citing Bitcoin, we went from $17k to today around $41k in just 3 months. In this context, Avalanche and Solana recorded new capital inflows, ranking second behind Bitcoin.
According to data from the CoinShares note, Avalanche received $190 million (+66% in a week) in new investments in November, while Solana recorded inflows of $160 million (+15% in a week).
For the entire market, this past week represents the eleventh consecutive week of positive inflows. For BTC alone they raised another 20 million dollars for a total amount from the beginning of 2023 of 1.7 billion.
What are the reasons?
The new capital inflows into the two altcoins could be attributable to several factors. First of all, both blockchains are next-generation smart contract platforms that offer high performance and low costs. In particular, Avalanche has a throughput of over 4 thousand transactions per second, Solana can reach up to approximately 65 thousand per second.
Secondly, Avalanche and Solana are platforms that are experiencing strong growth in terms of users and dApps. For example, Avalanche has over 2 thousand dApps, compared to Solana's 4 thousand.
Finally, the growth prospects of the two altcoins have always been an attraction for investors. They are ambitious blockchains that plan to launch new products and services.
