After the Ethena boom, the Wormhole inter-chain bridge is preparing to make its official debut with the airdrop of the native W token. The launch scheduled for April 4th will mark a fundamental step for the Wormhole ecosystem, opening up new possibilities for users of different blockchains.

W's airdrop will distribute 678,823,000 tokens (6.78% of the total supply) to almost 400,000 wallets. The recipients were selected based on a snapshot from February 6th and include both active members of the Wormhole community on Discord and owners of certain NFTs, such as Bad Kids, DeGods, Mad Lads and yOOts.
Token W
The W token is based on the ERC20 and SPL standards, it will be immediately available for trading both on the main CEXs such as Binance and others, and on some DEXs.
