Nexo, a platform I have talked about extensively in various articles, has launched a new 6% cashback promotion for new users who make their first transaction with their card from 21 November to 31 December.
To participate in the promo you need:
- Register with Nexo if you haven't already done so (you can use my referral and we will both get 25$ when you deposit 100$ https://nexo.com/ref/j6atsfddtw?src=android-link)
- Complete KYC
- Top up your account by at least $50 to request the virtual card or $500 to request the physical car (money that will not be used by Nexo but will remain for personal use, withdrawable and spendable at any time)
- Make the first transaction
The Cashback is paid within 14 days, but is usually paid within 2/3 days after paying the "debt" (Nexo is a lending platform, which means that when you make a purchase, the amount is LOANED by Nexo, so after a few days you must pay off this loan).
For Platinum customers, the 6% cashback limit will be $100 per month, $75 for Gold, $50 for Silver, $25 Basic.
Such a high cashback is useful for several reasons. First, it can represent a significant savings.
Let's take a practical example:
Let's say a person spends $1,500 total on Black Friday and Christmas gifts. the cashback he will get will be $90.
Total spend: $1,500
Cashback received: $90
Actual spend: $1,420
The promotional cashback rate is extremely competitive and happens precisely in a period where people tend to spend more money than normal. Unfortunately, it is not possible for already registered users to use it and it is a real shame.
Usually this type of promo was for all members, but clearly it is a promo intended to attract new customers especially after what happened to the Binance card and what seems like a flop of the Bybit Card (as regards the cashback of the regular user).
