Its been a few months since I joined Pi Network of Revolutionary Mobile Mining abilities without draining your mobile battery and keeping the app running in the background. Yes, you don't have to turn on the app in the background but you have to actively initiate the mining process after 24 hours. 

Pi Network is developed by Developers Community who has done a Ph.D. from Stanford University. You can check on the image below for authentication to my claims. This will be way bigger project then Electroneum I guess, as far as I have seen its progress. I am mentioning some of it in my article here.

There are four roles Pi users can play, as Pi miners. Namely:

• Pioneer. A user of the Pi mobile app who is simply confirming that they are not a “robot” on a daily basis. This user validates their presence every time they sign in to the app. They can also open the app to request transactions (e.g. make payment in Pi to another Pioneer)

• Contributor. A user of the Pi mobile app who is contributing by providing a list of pioneers he or she knows and trusts. In aggregate, Pi contributors will build a global trust graph.

• Ambassador. A user of the Pi mobile app who is introducing other users into the Pi network.

• Node. A user who is a pioneer, a contributor using the Pi mobile app, and is also running the Pi node software on their desktop or laptop computer. The Pi node software is the software that runs the core SCP algorithm, taking into account the trust graph information provided by the Contributors.

According to there whitepaper and roadmap, the core team has launched the beta version of Node and they are accepting applications from users for Nodes and Super Nodes specifically. They aimed to launch it in Q1 of 2020 and Pi Node beta testing applications has been launched weeks ago. The project looks promising and I insist every follower and readers of this blog post join the pi network on android and apply for the Node too. 

I have almost earned more than 1840 Pi coins on my mobile app worth around 660$ approx without any investment or buying from the exchange.
