Reassessing the subject of mining by the browser, this publication aims to present a specially developed web browser CryptoTab for the purpose of providing a mining tool.

The CryptoTab browser as well as several other browsers that are mounted on top of Chromium, this is a Chrome variation, but in this variation in particular, has integrated in its features what we can define as a mining panel.

In the mining panel of the CryptoTab browser is found some adjustments that allow the user to specifically mine Bitcoin, at least indicates that it is that currency, and for this reason I think that for the use to be effectively valid with regard to mining it is necessary that the user has a computer with a relatively high processing capacity.

Bitcoin as we all know today has in its characteristics a high difficulty in its blocks making mining difficult through common processors, since it has required in the resolution of the hashs for confirmation of blocks and transactions powerful processors, and therefore there are processors especially developed for the task.

On the other hand, such a condition based on the difficulty of bitcoin mining could be solved if the mining were executed in another currency with less difficulty even if the payment to the user was stipulated by the estimated value in bitcoin.

Despite these details, the browser may be an alternative for people who are interested in browser mining.
