Since a couple of months I'm trying some blockchain games. The first one was Upland.me. Buying and selling properties. At the moment I owe some properties in Brooklyn, San Francisco, Oakland, Staten Island and Chicago. Virtual ones of course.
A Music Career
Upland.me is fun, but all about investments, so also a little bit slow sometimes. To spice up my life a little bit, I decided to try a career as a rockstar with the music career game Rising Star.
Illegal on the streets
First I had to start playing illegal on the streets for just a few bucks (starbits). In the end the police always chased me away. So I tried some open mic nights, was asked as a midweek support act, got a licence for busking and got payed as a midweek headline. Things were going well. I could afford a Trike.
More fans than skill
My trike was such a success that it got me more fans than my music. And it got me an ego which was much too big for my skill and talent. So I took some singing lessons and changed my name to Bekky:
Famous in my home town
That got things running. I made it to saturday support and after that even to saturday headline. I’m famous now in my home town. People waving at me in the streets. Drunken fans are shouting my name at gigs. Time for the next step of my career. Tomorrow I start playing in the local gig circuit. With radio interviews and sessions and all that kind of stuff.
