BitStamps, the innovative Italian start up led by CEO and philatelist Nicola Archilli, will start selling the first digital stamp by artist Vittore Frattini on Monday for only € 9.99 ( £ 8.90 / $ 11.28 )

The small piece of art, named "Volo Rosso", is released in a limited series of 2,000 exemplars, blockchain technology ensures authenticity and ownership.
Vittore Frattini was born in Varese in 1937 and was introduced to the world of art thanks to his father Angelo who was a sculptor. His poetics grow together with his exhibition experiences becoming more and more precise and essential in fact, his exhibitions are held in the main artistic centers such as the 'Quadriennale di Roma'.
