Decentralized exchange aggregator Solana is launching an Airdrop campaign called “Jupuary” that will distribute 700 million tokens. Participants will be rewarded based on criteria such as transaction volume and staking.

Jupiter, the largest decentralized exchange aggregator on the Solano blockchain, will hold an Airdrop promotion called “Jupuary”. As part of this promotion, 700 million tokens with a total value of $580 million will be distributed to users, staking participants and other active community members.

Terms of participation in the Airdrop

The Jupiter team is still refining the criteria for participation in the promotion. Discussions are ongoing, but it is expected that the rewards will be distributed between two main groups:

• Users and Steaking participants;
• Community-supporting participants Carrots and Good Cats.

The prelims call for a calculation based on transaction volume over the past year. For example: users with transactions of at least $800 will receive a minimum of 50 tokens. If the transaction volume is $29,000 or more, the reward will be 250 tokens.

These criteria are aimed at expanding the Jupiter community and rewarding new and existing members.

Results of the previous giveaway

Last year, Jupiter gave away 1 billion JUP tokens to users who completed transactions of $1,000 or more until the “screenshot” was taken in November.

There are now 1.35 billion tokens in circulation. To reduce the total supply from 10 billion to 7 billion, the company plans to burn more than 3 billion tokens. This plan was approved by the community in August 2024.
