They stared at the Medieval movie set, tears started dropping from Sophie's eyes, "sniff" then Phoenix noticed she had tears rolling down her chicks almost frosty. You can't be crying out here, you'll get some nasty ice burns. I'm not crying she responded,just some snow thawring that's all, she said. It was obvious she was crying buy she didn't want to talk about it, she isn't the type of lady to be crying, he figured the medieval themed movie set must have something to do with it, he suggested they get going so they don't get caught up in a snow storm.
She didn't budge, she asked him or rather commanded him that they spend some time here, she wanted to take a walk through the medieval themed movie set.
"Growing up, medieval themed movies are what we watched over and over again, my folks had a maddening attachment to medieval themed movies. Everytime we got from school or whatever he had been doing, they'd tell us to seat Infront of the TV where a medieval movie would be playing, all grey, uninteresting, I wish I was stronger so I'd kill them or myself, maybe run away but I was too young and awefuly under their control. They had this invincible control blanket over me that I didn't dare challenge in the longest time she said as she stared into the movie set.
"Is that what you needed healing from? Doesn't sound too bad, at least you had company, who was it? A sister or brother? Any dolls for cute lil Sophia?" He laughed
"Don't call me that, there is a distinct difference between Sophia and Sophie, one is moved on, the other is a lil scared girl who used to be molested and made to do things she didn't want and she didn't know why she put up with all that for so long. Always thinking it will end when it never does and it was a younger sister who I loved so much" she told him.
"I can tell, you can't even stop crying, we better take that walk or get going cos it's blizzard conditions out here. Got to be careful not to pull a Henry." He attempted to cheer her up.
"I guess we can head off now, thank you" she agreed
On their way back, he got stuck in thoughts and imaginations of how it must have been growing up as she described. He thought back to his childhood and thought I had a pretty chilled childhood"
She squeezed closer into his arms, he embraced her as if embracing a child that just got heartbroken. "It's alright now, no one will hurt you as long as I am here ok" he assured her.
She shifted deeper into his arm as if to express her agreement. The rest of the way back was pretty silent. He was glad to have known that she is human too like the rest she cries tears that also get mistook for snow thawring he thought to himself in a joking manner.
