Higher yield will inevitably mean lower capital growth and lower future dividend growth, unless you're just lucky in your stock pick. 3 to 4% is the range you'd expect a mature company to pay dividends. End it with good future growth, also factor in volatility. If your stuff pays high yield but crashes 40%...
