This is just a problem

Yesterday I finally received my Solana Seeker and decided to post some content about it on a non-crypto platform.

It was a mistake.

Even though the platform was technically not public-public (a private group on a public platform), I received 10 spam comments in the first 60 minutes. So I tried closing the comments. Then I just gave up and deleted the post altogether.

This is still a huge problem with crypto.

This world is still infested with spammers and scammers.

But they proliferate because people fall for it.

I also joined some FB groups for crypto people, I never ever post anything but I do read everything, and the comments are truly scary.

And it goes further because it's the same in travel groups, where people constantly fall for non-existent travel brokers that convince them they can pay $50 for a plane ticket that ordinarily costs $500.

People can be so naive. It's shocking.

What can be done about it? Nothing, in my view.

This horrible naivety wasn't invented with crypto. It existed before.

People have been scamming - and been scammed - since the dawn of time.

If you've got a solution, please let me know, because I'm drawing a blank.
