This is how much this top crypto CEO spends on security every year

Everyone knows, or assumes, that celebrities and high-profile CEOs spend money on yachts (Bezos, Zuckerberg), space race fetishes (Bezos, Musk), private jets (all of them) and so on.

But the amount of money they spend on personal security is sometimes overlooked.

Potentially every high-profile CEO on the planet has a target on their back.

They all have one because they're rich, and some have more than one for political reasons.

In the case of Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, he has two.

One because of his personal wealth, and the second one is because Coinbase holds over $420 billion worth of assets, between the company's assets, and its users' assets.

So, quite frankly, I wasn't at all shocked when I learnt that Armstrong, per Bloomberg report, spends $6.2 million on personal security.

That's more than the CEOs of JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Nvidia spend... combined.

So that means bodyguards, drivers, and so on.

Brian Armstrong is worth $14.2 billion, so $6.2 million a year is like me spending 6 dollars a year.

It's worth it.
