Coinbase is potentially about to launch a new social network.

One of the world's most popular crypto exchanges, and the only that's gone public in the U.S., just emailed all of its customers to announce 'A new day one' for Coinbase.

Specifically, for Coinbase Wallet.

Whatever's coming next will be announced during a live event in Los Angeles, which will also be livestreamed on JUly 16th at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET.

The email read, "A new way to create. A new social network. A global economy for everyone. The next chapter of Coinbase Wallet is coming."

Aside from Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, the event will also feature Gary Vee, Shopify's Product Director Alex Danco and a few more people, including some of Base's (Coinbase's native blockchain, ed.) key figures.
