So I thought I'd kick-start my day with a political test and apparently I'm a libertarian, which I knew already, and dead in the centre but...leaning left, go figure. If you ask me, I'd never say I'd be leaning left, although I also believe left and right are largely surpassed concept.
Now the test has six pages worth of questions so I thought I'd include just a few for the sake of time.
None chooses their country of birth, so it’s foolish to be proud of it and I’d always support my country, whether it was right or wrong.
In this test, you have four options: strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree.
When it comes to these two questions, in both cases I agree. I was born and raised in a country with huge potential. But that potential is being squandered for a number of reasons. So why exactly should I be proud of that?
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” is a fundamentally good idea.
Out of all the questions, this is the one I strongly disagree with the most.
From each according to their ability and to each according to their need is one of the worst ideas in human history. Because it is impossible in real life. Because who controls the controllers?
Who decides what my ability is and my need is?
By following this mantra, my government can establish my ability is good enough for a 23-hour work day. And all I need to survive is a piece of bread every day.
That's exactly what happened every single time (every single time) this idea has been applied.

It's amazing how the world has learnt nothing from Prohibitionism.
Banning doesn't work. People never stop doing something or consuming something just because it's illegal. It was true with alcohol 100 years ago and it's true with marijuana today.
Make it legal, so you can A, control supply and B, tax it.
