I bought Worldcoin, sold two hours later at a loss - And I'm okay with that

The other day I got an email notification. "Good news", said the email. "You can now buy Worldcoin."

To which my natural reaction was, "the fcuk is Worldcoin?"

Worldcoin, as it turns out, is a token launched by Sam Altman, the blue-eyed, probably soulless CEO of OpenAI.

I wish to state from the outset that I've never used ChatGPT, and I plan on keeping it that way.

I also don't particularly like AI but, as with any and every other form of technology, I realize and acknowledge my opinion is irrelevant.

So, I had some extra BTC lying around on Nexo, sold it to get Worldcoin.

Then I thought about it. Thought about ChatGPT. Thought about AI. Thought about Terminator. Thought about Bitcoin. Thought about Nakamoto.

And two hours later, I sold the Worldcoin and bought back BTC.

Worldcoin's price had gone down so I lost some cash, but I don't care.

I'm curious as to why I never learn.

I don't follow my own advice sometimes.

I buy Bitcoin, nothing else. Friendly reminder... to myself.
