Base, Coinbase's new social media, is live.

A while back, Coinbase announced it would rebrand and reshape its wallet into Base, a social media-style app that's halfway between an NFT platform, a hot wallet, and a social networking app.

So far, this has never worked.

No blockchain-based, crypto-based social networking app has ever fully succeeded.

So far, they've remained niche products for crypto geeks.

Honestly, I don't think that's going to change with Base, but I might be wrong.
