A few weeks ago, Ferrari unveiled the F76, a limited-edition 'digital' hypercar for collectors.
Yeah. It's an NFT.
The thing with Ferrari, this is a brand that's so used to having customers say 'how high' when they say 'jump', it kind of lives in its own reality.
In theory, the idea is to give 100 Ferrari elite clients the opportunity to own a digital reproduction of the F76 in the form of an NFT.
In practice, I'm not sure where they're going with this.
Do people still care about NFTs?
When I learnt about this, I honestly saw this as an out-of-time, out-of-touch marketing stunt.
Like, this is 2025, who cares about NFTs?
But maybe. Maybe everyone cares.
