Bitcoin ETFs suffer second-worst day ever ($866 million 'lost')

Despite the long-awaited resolution of the 43-day US government shutdown, things aren't looking rosy.

They're looking particularly 'unrosy' for Bitcoin ETFs with a shocking $866 million in net outflows, which is the second-worst day on record.

The ETF slump, fake news about Strategy selling, whales selling - all of this is contributing to a bad 'vibe', and it's a contributing factor to explain why BTC keeps falling.

Also, according to Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley, we should probably stop talking about the old four-year cycle, because that's no longer a thing.

WWe've entered a new market structure," he wrote on X.

"There's a pretty good chance we've been in a bear market for almost 6 months now and are almost through it. The setup for crypto right now has never been stronger."

That's a very good point.

But the one thing that stands out is that Bitcoin has been doing well, but nearly everything else hasn't.

I don't know if you noticed but the vast, vast majority of altcoins is way down. And it's probably never going to go back.
