AAAAAAND there's always a catch, isn't there?

For reasons you probably don't care about, I found myself in a position where I need to book a lot of different things in a short amount of time.

That's when I remembered I'd used CoinMarketCap diamonds to redeem a $50 travel voucher for Travala.com, which is like Booking.com, except you can use crypto.

Problem is, the moment I tried to redeem my voucher, it didn't work.

So I went back to the CoinmarketCap website to read the fine print, which I'd already read by the way, and that's when I found a sneaky little detail: it expired after 30 days.

I got in early August, so that's more than 30 days, isn't it?

It sucks. And it bothers me.

I'll share part of the blame, because whenever you miss something that's in the fine print, you always need to share the blame, I'm afraid.

BUT.

First, what's the point of a voucher that expires in 30 days? Surely that's not good enough.

Second, the 30-day expiry note should've been larger. It should've been superimposed on the screen, not written in small letters.

Long story short, I've booked something else through booking, and even though there's nothing I hate more than wasting a good voucher, I haven't given up on Travala.

Stay tuned. I Guess.
