This Family Bet It All on Bitcoin - Every Bitcoiner can relate to this - you always feel short Bitcoin. There is nothing quite like it's value proposition & once you see it, you'll want to tell everyone. The problem is: most people are time poor. Most people think you're talking about some conspiracy theory. They shrug it off like it's nothing; they say "I don't understand" - they fear the unknown. When this bull market kicks into full force they'll all wish you told them - you did already. It's going to happen again but you can't pressure anyone to do anything. It's really hard to not to bring up Bitcoin at every possible opportunity because it's absolutely massive & will change the world more than the internet itself.
These days I try to talk about Bitcoin lightly; it's really tough - I have to force myself. I have never believed in anything more. This is what Bitcoin does to you & if it hasn't yet, I think you need to do more research. If you don't become completely disgusted by the legacy system, you must enjoy theft & a harder life. My Bitcoin advice would be: only buy when you understand it, don't blindly jump in. Buy a small amount each week. Dollar Cost Average (DCA) the money you can afford after all your expenses & ignore the price dips. Live within your means. Times are going to become much harder. Bitcoin is a tool to soften the blow from a broken & corrupt system governments have created. They'll keep telling you COVID-19 is the reason; No, it was inevitable before the virus.
People are distracted by the high Bitcoin price; the reality is, it's still so early. Buying now means you front-run most of the wealthy individuals in the world. To put in perspective, there are ~40 million millionaires & ~2m coins available on the open market - Bitcoin is incredibly scarce. This is why a $300-400k price level for the peak of this bull run is being conservative. At $400k a piece, Bitcoin is still tiny. It would still only equate to 1 third of US stock market. Bitcoin has the potential to swallow anything with a fiat value (dollars, euros, yen). This includes precious metals, art, stocks, bonds, debt & derivatives (anything with any kind of value, negative values too). The global addressable market for money itself is over $1 Quadrillion, That's $1000 Trillion. That's 1,000,000,000,000,000. Bitcoin is roughly 1/3000th of this. Why wouldn't you put your spare cash into this!? There's no minimum amount required like stocks or property, you can literally buy $1 worth per day. Bitcoin disrupts money itself, like Netflix > Blockbuster. Money is a technology, Bitcoin has already won.
Simply put, people will buy Bitcoin to avoid losing money - I couldn't think of a more bullish reason to own it. It is possible that a global financial collapse aligns with this bull market, everyone jumps ship - A polarizing event could be upon us. Perhaps this is cycle that changes everything. You can't rule it out. This financial system is broken beyond repair, yes Bitcoin isn't perfect - But it's an improvement that is an order of magnitude more beneficial for the people on this planet. The hardest money available, exhibiting the best qualities. It is money that builds futures. We need to stop making out money to be this taboo topic. Money is one of our main forms of communication. Without it, life comes to a standstill - this is a reality. When we fix these money issues, maybe then we can focus more on life itself. True wealth shouldn't be tied to your net worth; it should mean you have more time to do what you want & you're not worried about money. Rich people all over the world are lacking both these things. Time is the most valuable asset. Bitcoin returns stolen time to you.
