Fund managers steer clear of Bitcoin despite surging prices - I think this article is tactful propaganda - I think they're secretly buying & trying to deter others. Steering clear of Bitcoin will only lead to regret. In the last year, Bitcoin's perception by large Wall St. players has completely changed. It has gone from a risky speculative asset to a must-own conservative asset. This dramatic change in sentiment can be attributed to the recent price tag over $20k USD.
If every fund in the world allocated just 1% to Bitcoin the price would be much higher. Imagine when they realize it's value, their dedicated percentage will only increase. Most people would have laughed me out of the room for saying this 6-12 months ago; the perception is quickly changing in a big way. Even $300-400k price for Bitcoin is still nothing. As the world realizes they're massively short Bitcoin, the supply will only decrease towards zero.
At some point you won't be able to buy Bitcoin; you'll have to earn it. I know this for certain because I am one of the hodlers who can see it's insane value proposition, I have zero intention to ever sell back to government money - it's a no brainer to me at this point. I know there are many others like me. I watched an 85% downturn in the market & kept my conviction - never even thought about selling. Again, many others did this - there are extremely strong hands holding this market up, believe me. These numbers will only increase. Bitcoin will only get stronger. Ignoring it is a very bad idea. The network effect in Bitcoin is second to none. It's like nothing I've ever seen before; it's absolutely incredible.
As time goes on & on I continue to see new levels to Bitcoin, I only become more & more bullish on it's future. I listen & learn as much as I can. I write this blog to summarize what I've learnt. It helps me to consolidate all the information I feel is valuable. My aim is to simplify and pass on. I try to constantly hit these points throughout conversation in my personal life. I really believe in a Bitcoin future. If for some reason it fails, humanity is doomed. I don't want to live in a world ruled by sociopathic kleptocrats & technocrats who continually rob us of our future, prospects & our basic human rights. Bitcoin is a gift, we need to embrace it in a big way to enact positive change in this world. The way I see it (& many others), the money is broken; Bitcoin is the first sustainable step to changing the world for the better.
