It is useless to be fooled by the trends of politics.
As much as they believe they can influence and buy everything, they have understood that they will not be able to do anything to hinder bitcoin.
As much as they will try to ride the wave, emphasizing the "collapses" and hiding the successes, the system on which they are based is rotten and literally impossible to sustain.
It is also absolutely unsustainable for the "common man". The classic "paycheck to paycheck" survival scheme.
Until we will see big headlines "BUY bitcoin", or advertisements in the style of buying gold/pawn shop, it is clear that there will still be room...
Long-term hodl will be the only solution. A bit like those memes say... there will be a time when it will no longer make sense to spend bitcoin.

In the next 3 halvings (12 years more or less) the coinbase will be around 40 thousand euros - 0.39 btc (today's btc value). Today the same coinbase is around 300 thousand.
Is it likely that this value will rise in the meantime? 
Is it likely that the number of bitcoins "obtainable" from mining will drop drastically soon?
... and in general will it become really complicated to get them soon?

... I would also evaluate a mortgage
