Ms. Yellen: You state that Bitcoin is speculative. I ask you. What is more speculative. Bitcoin or the US Dollar?
An algorithm like Bitcoin that is mathematically set at 21 million shares, creates an immutable ledger of transactions, is cryptographically more secure than banks, is programmable, global, low fee, usable in machine to machine transactions.
OR the dollar, backed by a government 27 trillion dollars in debt and counting, that you have to speculate as to how many units will be printed of said dollar, especially if it goes digital with no limits, and comes from a government that diverted money that is supposed to go in trust into one trust to another, social security, old age to disability just by passing a law permitting it to do it. Additionally, the debt of said US government is owned by Communist China who could dump said debt and crush the dollar. What’s more speculative I ask?
