Celsius makes earning interest on your Crypto very easy. Simply deposit a supported Cryptocurrency and start earning. Interest is paid out weekly and will start compounding February 1st. Tiers - Earning Higher Interest
You might notice that each coin has two interest rate percentages associated with it. A lower percentage in black and a higher percentage in green. The higher interest rate is a bonus you can earn by holding Celsius tokens. The great thing is that you also earn 5% interest on those Celsius tokens. The bonus is based on a tiered system depending on the value ratio of your Celsius tokens to the value of the rest of your Cryptocurrencies. Below is a depiction of the tiers.
To be in the Silver tier, 5% to 10% of your net value has to be in Celsius tokens to earn a 10% bonus on the interest earned. 10% to 15% value must be kept in Celsius tokens to earn a 20% bonus interest. A greater than 15% value in Celsius grants you the Platinum tier and earns you a whopping 35% bonus interest.
