is this just an issue with the Social media provider or part of something bigger? Something big on super Tuesday i guess?

My initial reactions was. "Oh no looks like I got hacked."
Immediately I checked my emails, but there were no notices. I also have authenticator enabled so i was pretty sure whoever had tried to hack my account couldn't do it without some serious backdoor access.

I then proceeded to check my backup account and also my instagram. All down.
it dawned on me that the website itself is down. and i proceeded to check the web.

I thought of making this short article as to what to do in case you think you get hacked in your account.
    1. Review all your access/authenticator points. If they are intact, likely it was not hacked. check emails if anyone has tried to change your password.

    2. Think if any of your phones or laptops might be missing - its possible somebody has gained access to them

    3. For sanity's sake, check the web for any news article in case of an outage like this one.

Now this is not complete as i would like it to be as i have to go somewhere else at this time. But of course if any of the 3 items does not line up to your expectations then its time to try to recover it or seek the help of authorities as some information might have been compromised.

And one last thing, its better to have some sort of backup network, Line, Viber, Telegram, Signal etc. As you may never know when you need to contact others who are abroad or don't have a phone service.
