A Quick Endorsement of Basic Attention Token (BAT)

FULL DISCLOSURE:  I am not going to drop a Brave Browser affiliate link here, despite the fact that I am a Brave Publisher, because I do not want the weight of my endorsement to be eclipsed by a sad attempt to make $5.00 for a referral to the Brave Browser.  Instead, I just want to say a few things about why I believe it is a great platform.  

I have been involved with the Brave project since it began, since the very first publicly available beta.  I currently allow ads to come through to earn BAT, which is what I suggest everyone do.  The BAT token is one of the most utilitarian crypto assets out there, as it literally pays for your attention.  

For awhile, I had a bit of doubt about whether or not the project would take off, until I saw the ability to tip on social media sites like Twitter. 

So, the idea that advertising should be something that we choose to partake in, and the fact that BAT allows us to make that choice and be compensated for it is a concept unique to this world. 

I became sold on the utility aspect of the token when I joined Publish0x, though.  As a ghostwriter, I am usually only paid for the content I produce at the time I turn it in to my client.  The exception here is when I ghostwrite a book series, upon which I usually negotiate a fee for completion and an ongoing royalty/commission that makes sense for the project type.  Being able to publish here under my own name, where people who read my work not only have the ability to comment/complain about my posts, but can pay me for the time they spent reading it -- to pay me because I kept their attention -- that is a concept that I believe will take BAT super far. 

I know that I am am not saying anything new here -- but as an accomplished, seasoned writer, I just felt it was necessary to offer this ringing endorsement of the Brave project as well as the integration here on Publish0x.  I can't wait until more and more of the web starts displaying the BAT symbol next to content of any kind.  

So, with this, I wholeheartedly endorse the Brave project and the Basic Attention Token!
