What did you do with your Trustwallet Token (TWT) airdrop?

By belemo | belemo | 1 Feb 2021

If you use Binance and have ever held BNB in the past, then you probably received the TWT airdrop. The airdrop was actually a couple of months ago and it just popped up in Binance wallets.

If you abandoned the TWT you received in your finance wallet, then it got burned after a specific period. It has been a while, so I can't even remember the specific dates but I reckon it was sometime in December last year.

Anyway, claiming it was simple and @mistakil has an explainer somewhere in his timeline. It is too late for that anyway, so yeah, sorry if you didn't claim yours. Anyway, after my short conversation with @chekohler ler about gas fees and shit, I decided to peek at my Trust wallet.

To my surprise, and a very pleasant one, the TWT airdrop had risen in value. When the airdrop happened, the 100 tokens were worth like $5 or something. I lost a few as charges for moving them from Binance to Trust wallet.

I'm not quite sure what these tokens are meant for but I like free money. If you got the airdrop and moved it to the Trust wallet, then you can just swap it for BNB and dump it or hold it.

At this current rate, the total value of my TWT is roughly 0.6BNB. It is not earth-shattering but it is free and quite lovely to look at. I'll leave it to marinate in my wallet for a while, and see what becomes of it in the future.
