Cryptocurrencies brought us the possibility to get our financial freedom, for self sovereignty and independence from the banks and traditional institutions. Blockchains created ecosystems where anyone could go bankless and could use the investments, savings and loaning features or other instruments that are put together by other participants. This started a revolution around the world to remove any intermediary that would benefit from an individual financial struggle or his chance to earn more. Each of us can own its financial destinity and fight for it.

Central banks are didacting the monetary policies in a country without the individual being able to have a saying in it, while the commercial banks are the ones that on one side might seem giving a hand to those in hand and on the other hand getting fat out of it. It is a system in which an individual cannot win and is enslaved until he succeeds to pay and overpay what he owns. And the blockchains and cryptocurrencies brought new borderless solutions and instruments that simply makes us not to need the banks anymore or at least to need them less.

Having this in mind we all have the chance to embark in a bankless journey and be a Jedi in this world. Our goals for financial freedom should be to flip the tables against traditional institutions and achieve the following:

• Get more net worth in cryptocurrency asset than in the traditional investment and holding options
• Perform more banking activity over blockchains using cryptocurrencies compared to the traditional system

Some of us might already made the flip, others are on the way of achieving that, some just started the journey or other didn't even realize that they could do that. But some of you could be inspired by this and become a bankless Jedi unor our eyes. It might be risky, it might be difficult, but you need to start from one point and I think that the first thing is the fact to realize that you can achieve this. Make a goal out of it, make a spreadsheet and just compare the evolution and you might see that you can get there much earlier than you would have imagined it.

Becoming a bankless Jedi would bring you the following benefits as I see them.

• Maximize your crypto wealth compared to traditional instruments
• Get a Jedi skills and knowledge to keep up to date and make use of the new instruments available (the simplest example that comes to mind is to participate in DeFi projects, like the soon to launch wLEO on Uniswap)
• Move away from authoritarianism to a more liberal financial system with less constrictions
• Hedge against the money printing (Bitcoin is proving the best instrument in this regard and public companies, private companies and investment funds already started staking BTC for this purpose)
• Become a borderless investor or participant in a world economy built on blockchains and using cryptocurrencies at their core
• Get the power back from the hands of the banks and own your data and financial decisions and bring change into the world you want to be living in and be leaded by

It is up to you if you want to become a bankless Jedi and fight for what is right for you and achieve financial freedom. You can help make the switch from a traditional, subjective and sometimes a corrupt system to own governed by cryptocurrencies and math, with clear consensus governance and with the trust put in code and in something that cannot be bribed or influenced. Even if you don't realize it yet, anyone of us can help shape us the financial future of current and next generation. We need to stand up and defend and protect our destiny and financial freedom and cryptocurrencies and their instruments is the way to do it.
