Coinbase Support "Rant"

Coinbase Support "Rant"

Who here has not used Coinbase, no one right.
Who here has needed to contact support? Probably everyone at some point in time... And what did you get in response to your request - silence I bet.

This is a site that makes a ton of money. From taking those small slices in each transaction or trade, or to siphoning off the top on the new Interest options through to charging for some use cases.

They make so much money, they are literally giving it away! Over $170 of "lessons" and referral bonuses on their site currently.

So my question is, why is support so bad. And... yes I mean Oh So BAD.

Perhaps I am being harsh, perhaps I am being biased. Lets check over at Trustpilot:

I have had the need to contact Coinbase twice. The first time to find out about my account status. Three years on and after a update request every 3 months or so - I am yet to have anything beyond a automated response. Likewise, my more recent request about the Compound advanced lesson. For some reason, mid way through the lesson they transfer your some currency to use. This did not arrive (quite common it seems). As such, I cannot progress on the lesson and complete it. First ticket was dismissed as being related to the 3 year old one. Sent again, and it is sat their with automated bot response.

No response, silence continues... I thought lets try the public Twitter support account. This time a real person replied quickly and PM'd me for the ticket number. That was the last i heard there too.

Has anyone here actually received support? Do you have more than 1k in crypto? Or is support, like many things in this world only for the rich?
