A very quick post today. It looks like Coinbase has reopened lessons for ZCash. On my list it appears half way down my earn list, and appeared less than an hour ago.

So go sign up and see when it opens for you to claim your little bit of crypto.

Once I am in, I will write up the questions and answers to aid those in need.

ZCash - the quick background

Zcash is very much like Bitcoin. (In fact, Zcash was built on the original Bitcoin code base.) It came from those smart people over at MIT and Johns Hopkins. Its main difference is that you control what information you share. Shielded addresses are not visible on the blockchain:

Efficient and usable
Audit- and regulation-friendly
Decentralized and attack-resistant
Private addresses & transactions
