PART 1

Dark rain clouds gathered slowly 

Wind gushed past the Mopane trees

Bending and shaking them vigorously 

Darkness creeped in, chasing away light

And, it went quiet. No noise

Only the sound of wind, rattling of leaves, 

And temperatures dropped slowly. 

I stole a glance a him

As he studied the weather through the window 

My heart pounding, blood rushing

I knew that was the only chance I have 

I had to find out if he feels the same way 

'What if' , I argued with my heart. 

As if interested on the situation outside, I approached him. 

Part of me wanted to run away, but I had to try

Without wasting time, I hugged from behind 

I didn't realize my member was active in my actions, damn! 

He turned around fast, astonished

'What are you doing?' he asked, throwing my hands. 

'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry' I repeated with panic 

Disappointed, but I moved back and looked down. 

He was my best friend, how could I do that 

I appologized again but he stood there still

I could hear his heart beat from a safe distance 

He was also looking down, shy, and terrified 

I started walking away, closed the door and left with shame. 

It was now raining heavily. 

'Wait, come back'. He shouted from behind

I stopped and looked back. 

He was approaching. I didn't know what to do that moment 

So I just stood still. 

Let's talk, he said and we walked back to his room. 

Inside his room, he did not waste time. 

He hugged me and we kissed passionately
