In my previous post https://www.publish0x.com/beats4change/danish-hip-steppeulvene-part-1-xrrxxr you got introduced to the drummer Preben Devantier and his career up till the foundation of the group Steppeulvene in 1967.
As told he and the leadsinger Peter Belli from the group Les Rivals, got arrested for smoking hashish. Out of prison, he started hanging out with Søren "Bøf" Seirup, who would become the bass-player.
Søren had left the group "The Beefeaters" march 1966, where he had been a front-figure. I'll later return to this group and it's development in the late 60ties
The Beefeaters was founded in 1964, and became known to be a bit more longhaired and wild than many of the other bands playing pigtråd ( barbed wire ). Seirup as leadsinger was known to act out on stage. The group played a more rough R&B inspired by Rolling Stones and Pretty Things
In 1966 they recorded a single, the only published recording with Seirup, other members at that time was, Morten Kjærumgård ((ex-Rodgers) Organ), Flemming »Keith» Volkersen (el-b), Erling »Mozart« Madsen (dm) and Tom Methling ((ex-Blackpools) lead-g)

As told, Seirup left the group shortly after, as he was kind of burned out and needed a break, he was hanging out with Preben Devantier, the latter tell they went to see a new Bondmovie, and arriving at the cinema, they go to the toilet, where they hear someone loudly reciting lyrics, that sounds like from a fairy-tale, that's how they meet Stig Møller, and the poetry of Eik Skalø, they are already cooperating on a project about putting Eiks poetic universe into music, a project that becomes Steppeulvene, as Stig meets Preben and Søren in that toilet
